About Clitheroe Royal Grammar School
Clitheroe Royal Grammar School is a mixed selective 11-18 school with academy status, founded in 1554. The Main School (Years 7-11) has approximately 750 pupils at the Chatburn Road site. The Sixth Form Centre is at the York Street site, with approximately 650 students from over 40 secondary schools studying a wide range of A Level subjects.
