Getting the most from 11+ worksheets
Short, regular practice works better than long sessions. One worksheet a day, about 10 to 15 minutes, keeps question types fresh without turning practice into a chore.
Start at Easy for a new question type. When your child gets most questions right, print a new set at the same level to check it has stuck, then move up. Go through wrong answers together using the explanations on the answers page.
Closer to the exam, add timing: the suggested time on each sheet is a good target, and the mixed worksheets help children switch between question types as they will in a real paper.
