Practise and the Game zone
Two bright, simple pages in your child's menu. Practise shows what they've done this week and the one thing to do next, then every way to practise: papers, writing, mock exams and more. The Game zone has five quick games, a daily streak, personal bests and a shelf of trophies to fill.
Practise
One place for everything your child can practise. A banner shows their week in four numbers, a single “Do this next” card takes the decision out of it, and big cards lead to practice papers, the writing studio and mock exams. Below them, colourful tiles cover every other way to practise.
- This week's papers, questions, % right and mistakes to fix
- One clear next step
- Papers, writing and mocks up front
- Reading, ISEB practice, flash cards and more
Game zone
A little arcade of quick games that build the fast recall the 11+ rewards. Your child sees their streak, rounds played this week and trophies won, with “today's pick” (a different game each day) and a Surprise me button when they can't decide.
- Five games, from 60-second races to word pairs
- Daily streak and rounds this week
- Personal bests to beat
- Nine trophies to win

No need to plan each session: the page suggests the next thing, and your reports show what got done.
Tutors
Work set by a linked tutor appears in the child's menu alongside everything else.

Questions parents ask
Where does my child find these pages?
Both are in your child's own menu once they sign in: Practise for papers, reading and writing, and Games for quick races and word games. On a phone they're in the tab bar at the bottom.
How does "Do this next" choose?
It picks one thing in a set order: carry on an online paper they started and haven't finished; otherwise fix the mistakes waiting for them; otherwise, if they haven't done a paper this week, try one; and if they have, write a story.
What do the numbers in the "this week" banner count?
The last seven days: papers finished, questions answered, the percentage right and mistakes still waiting to be fixed. Mock exam answers are left out, because their scores can be held back until results day.
Which games count towards the streak?
A day counts when your child plays at least one round of Mental maths or English sprint, or finishes a friend challenge. The streak is the number of days in a row, and it isn't lost until the end of a day they miss.
Are the games free?
Some are. Word match and Challenge a friend are free. Mental maths and English sprint have one free warm-up a day each, and Word of the Day is free. Premium opens every mode and topic and the spelling and word games.
Is it safe for my child to challenge friends?
Yes. Both children play the same 10 questions and compare scores. Only nicknames are shown, and there's no messaging between children.
Are mock exams included in Premium?
No. Mock exams are booked separately, for a set date. The Mock exams card on the Practise page takes your child to their mock exams once you've booked one.
Will games distract from proper practice?
The games are short, 60-second rounds or a few minutes, and they build the quick recall behind every 11+ paper: times tables, mental arithmetic and vocabulary. Many families use them as a warm-up before a paper, or a reward after one.
