How to solve them
Use facts you know to work out ones you don't: 6 × 7 is 5 × 7 plus one more 7, and 9 × 8 is 10 × 8 take away 8.
How to use it
Print the questions and keep the answers page to one side. Allow about 10 minutes, then mark it together and talk through anything that went wrong using the explanations. Move up a level once your child gets most of them right.
