What it practises

Finding fractions and percentages of amounts, such as 3/4 of 60 or 15% of 240.

How to solve them

To find a fraction of a number, divide by the bottom number, then multiply by the top. For percentages, find 10% first (divide by 10) and build from there.

How to use it

Print the questions and keep the answers page to one side. Allow about 10 minutes, then mark it together and talk through anything that went wrong using the explanations. Move up a level once your child gets most of them right.
