What it practises
Probability: the chance of something happening as a fraction in its simplest form, from bags of counters, dice, spinners and number cards, and the language of chance.
How to solve them
Probability = the number of ways it can happen ÷ the total number of outcomes. Count the total carefully first, then simplify the fraction.
How to use it
Print the questions and keep the answers page to one side. Allow about 15 minutes, then mark it together and talk through anything that went wrong using the explanations. Move up a level once your child gets most of them right.
