What it practises
Five figures: four share a feature and one doesn't. Your child finds the odd one out.
How to solve them
Compare the figures feature by feature (number of sides, shading, number of dots, angles, direction). The odd one out breaks the rule all the others follow.
How to use it
Print the questions and keep the answers page to one side. Allow about 12 minutes, then mark it together and talk through anything that went wrong using the explanations. Move up a level once your child gets most of them right.
