What it practises
Five words: three belong to a group and two do not. Your child finds the odd two out.
How to solve them
Find the three words that share something first (all animals, all colours, all mean 'big'...). The two left over are the answer.
How to use it
Print the questions and keep the answers page to one side. Allow about 15 minutes, then mark it together and talk through anything that went wrong using the explanations. Move up a level once your child gets most of them right.
