What it practises
A word in capitals inside a sentence has three letters missing. Those three letters make a word of their own, and your child finds it.
How to solve them
Read the sentence to work out what the capitalised word should be, then spell it out and see which three letters are missing.
How to use it
Print the questions and keep the answers page to one side. Allow about 15 minutes, then mark it together and talk through anything that went wrong using the explanations. Move up a level once your child gets most of them right.
